About Art for Recovery

Art for Recovery provides a safe environment where adults can express the intense feelings that arise in life-threatening illnesses; nurturing the aesthetic sensibilities of patients, visitors, and medical staff at the various campuses of UCSF Medical Center and in the community, and creating a safe haven for patients and staff to be heard, to express their feelings and find support.
