Bay Area Science Festival 2012 - call for entries
Bay Area Science Festival, a 10 day celebration of science led by UCSF scheduled for 10/25-11/3 this year. The festival is organized by the Science & Health Education Partnership (SEP) here at UCSF.
The festival is entering our 2nd year - last year we drew over 70,000 people to festival events, including 22,000 to the festival finale at AT&T Park, a hands-on science finale that turned the ballpark into a huge outdoor science museum. This year, we expect that number to grow, up to 30,000 at the finale at AT&T Park on 11/3. We'll also have 60+ other events including many for adults.
Help spread the word about this festival to people within your department and participate if possible. Our "Call for Exhibitors" open through September 28th. We do not charge any fees for UCSF groups to participate.
