The Cancer Information Service is a program of the National Cancer Institute, offering individuals everywhere with ready access to information and answers to their questions about cancer. By calling 1-800-4-CANCER (800.422.6237), toll-free, from 9 am to 4:30 pm, individuals receive information that is authoritative, comprehensive, and tailored to individual needs.
