CORES: Array Core

The Array Core at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center provides BAC arrays to investigators at academic institutions for use in Array CGH, as well as a complete “DNA to Data” service. The Core also provides imaging systems for microarray analysis and custom microarray printing services.

About Array CGH

Array Comparative Genomic Hybridization (Array CGH) allows high resolution determination of DNA copy number changes. Such genetic aberrations are common in cancer, as well as in developmental abnomalities.

We provide two BAC arrays for Array CGH: a 1.4Mb human array, and a 1Mb mouse array.
