Cancer Resource Center

The Cancer Resource Center supports wellness and the healing process by providing patients and their loved ones with information, emotional support, and community resources. The CRC maintains a multimedia library, provides access to specialized health databases, and offers research assistance. We host diverse support groups and classes, and direct people to other community resources. All CRC programs are free.

Open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Community Events
In addition to its ongoing support groups and classes, the CRC sponsors a variety of special events for patients, family members, and caregivers. For details, download our quarterly event calendar. For up-to-date information, the UCSF Medical Center provides an online calendar.


Other Resources
Art for Recovery provides individuals who are coping with life-threatening illness with art workshops, visits at the bedside, and individual attention.
Friend to Friend, at UCSF Medical Center/Mt. Zion, is a one-stop specialty shop for wigs, scarves, prostheses, and more.
