Increasingly, people with cancer are looking for complementary methods of treatment to help booster the efficacy of conventional therapies. In this seminar, you will learn about the complementary therapies which may be useful while receiving conventional chemo, radiation or hormonal therapies. Dr. Abrams will also discuss complementary therapies and nutritional strategies which may be useful to counter symptoms associated with cancer, treatment or survival beyond therapy.
Donald Abrams, MD, Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCSF and Chief of Hematology/Oncology at San Francisco General Hospital, is world-renowned in the field of integrative cancer. He provides Integrative Oncology consultations at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine.
