Joint Hematopoietic Malignancies/Cancer Immunity & Microenvironment Retreat

March 7, 2014, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

The goal of this inaugural joint retreat between the Hematopoietic Malignancies and Cancer Immunity & Microenvironment Programs within the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center at UCSF is to highlight recent and ongoing research efforts in hematologic malignancies as well as solid tumors, with a focus on approaches that manipulate the immune system and tumor microenvironment to control or eradicate disease. The ultimate aim of this program is to foster collaborative efforts between Members and Associate Members of the Cancer Center. Speakers with a broad range of collective expertise ranging from lymphocyte development to basic and translational studies of hematologic malignancies, melanoma and prostate cancer will present their latest findings.
