Breast cancer and COVID-19: caring for yourself and how we are caring for you during the pandemic
Event Details
Please join us as Dr. Hope Rugo hosts an online edition of the UCSF Bay Area Breast Cancer Forum. Dr. Rugo will be joined by Dr. Pelin Cinar who is the director of quality improvement for the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and she is committed to developing projects to ensure each oncology patient at UCSF receives high-quality care.
Many of us are searching for information on COVID-19 and what precautions to take. At this forum, we will discuss how people with breast cancer can best care for themselves and how we at UCSF are caring for breast cancer patients during the COVID-19 crisis.
We encourage you to participate by submitting questions ahead of time but you can also ask questions during the forum. We hope that this forum can help ease some of the anxiety and panic that people are experiencing by providing information from trusted UCSF providers. This forum presents a wealth of information and is open to the public so please help share this event with anyone who may be interested.
