UCSF Mount Zion Campus
1600 Divisadero Street
San Francisco, CA 94115
NOTE: This monthly event has been on pause through 4/15, due to the Coronavirus. Please check back to see if it is resuming on 5/12.
At this time, UCSF is restricting access to in-person nonessential medical visits and programs due to COVID19. Psycho-Oncology and Cancer Supportive Care Services are committed to offering psychological support with as little interruption as possible while ensuring the continued safety, comfort, and wellbeing of our patients and community. At this time, Psycho-Oncology clinical services will be offered exclusively via the Zoom telehealth platform. Group programs are being converted to video wherever possible. We will be contacting patients with scheduled appointments to convert those visits to video. Please call at 415-353-7019 with any questions or concerns about how to access supportive care. We look forward to continue being of support as we weather this challenging time together.
Survivorship Wellness is an 8-week clinical program focused on helping survivors of cancer learn about, set goals, and practice skills to optimize their health and wellness after cancer treatment. This is a required introduction to the 8-week series, which is held on Mondays from 1:30-3:00 pm.
In this group program, you will have the opportunity to learn from and practice with our cancer center dieticians, social workers, psychologists, chaplains, health coaches, and exercise counselors to set goals around nutrition, physical activity, managing stress, sleeping well, and promoting sexual, emotional, and spiritual wellness after cancer treatment.
This group is open to post-treatment UCSF cancer patients and is covered by most insurance.
Registration is required. Please call 415-353-3931 to learn more and to register.
