California Breast Cancer Research Program Poster Session
The intent of the poster session is to generate interest in current projects and facilitate communications between program members. Posters may have been presented previously at other meetings.
The session categories are:
Early Detection and Prevention
Epidemiology and Population Science
Therapeutics and Clinical Trials
Awards will be given.
All entries must have been submitted by 9 AM Monday, January 27th.
Poster Registration Poster registration is now closed
Posters board stands will be available from the 12:00 noon start of the meeting. Event participants may display their work as soon as the boards are labeled with designated poster numbers, and posters must be installed prior to the 4:30 P.M. session start time.
This year we encourage participants to bring a poster to fit in an 4’x 4’ area. Larger 4’x8’ (horizontal “landscape” orientation) will be provided for those who require it to display an existing poster of that size.
Posters should be affixed with pushpins (provided) on the assigned, freestanding poster frame. Use lightweight materials that will affix easily with pushpins. Include the title and authors at the top of the posters in 1-inch-high letters. Keep illustrated material simple and make posters as self-explanatory as possible.
Detailed directions for setting up posters on event day (January 6) will be provided at a later date by email to all registered poster contacts.
All entries must have been registered no later than 9 AM Monday, January 27th.
Parking: Self-paid parking is available in the garage located on-site. Pay inside at the JCC information desk to receive event pricing.
Public Transportation: The Jewish Community Center is accessible by public transportation (including MUNI bus lines 1, 2, 4). UCSF staff, students, and faculty may take one of the campus shuttles to the adjacent Laurel Heights campus.
