About Genome Analysis

The UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center Genome Analysis Core provides services and equipment specializing in genome analysis downstream of RNA and DNA isolation. We specialize in mid-to high-throughput quantitative PCR, SNP, and epigenetic analyses using a variety of state-of-the-art platforms.

Transition to MyCores

The Genome Core is transitioning from CoreAdmin to MyCores in two phases: instruments first followed by services. Please use MyCores for instruments starting 6/17 and approximately one month later for services.

Beginning June 17th:

  • Equipment reservations can be ordered/made on MyCores by logging in to UCSF MyAccess.
    To establish an account, new users must complete and submit the MyCORES User Account form.   The form should list all authorized users for a specific account or cost center and be signed by the principal investigator or authorized account administrator.

  • Services will continue to be ordered online through July 2013 using the CoreAdmin system.
    • Instructions for navigating CoreAdmin can be found here and within the ordering system itself. Depending on services requested, please fill out the appropriate Work Order Form.
