Establish Account & Scheduling

To establish an account, new users must complete and submit the Cancer Center Core Authorization Form. The form should list all authorized users for a specific account or cost center and be signed by the principal investigator or authorized account administrator.

For access to LCA device calendars and to order services, use the CoreAdmin system. Instructions for navigating CoreAdmin can be found here and within the ordering system itself.

For assays with potential biohazard risk or new applications of unknown risk, a Hazardous Materials Notification must also be submitted. This facilitates LCA EH&S records of facility usage and also informs LCA personnel of potential biohazards associated with a new application or assay to be performed on LCA instrumentation. This will allow LCA staff to take necessary precautions to revise setup or cleaning procedures.

Training is also available on all instruments to enable the users to operate equipment without the assistance of a technician. Recharge rates reflect instrument operation both with and without assistance.

Scheduling

First-time users should contact the Core to arrange instrument time. Established users may view availability and schedule time on LCA instruments through the CoreAdmin application. Please include your phone number when scheduling. If assistance is required from an instrument operator, this must be arranged before making reservations on CoreAdmin.
