"Music kindles a light in the darkness."
Jim Murdoch

The Healing Garden Music Series, a program of noon concerts that began in the Fall of 2002, continues to invite musicians to perform in the UCSF Mount Zion Lobby, the Ida Friend Outpatient Infusion Center on the inpatient units, in the Radiation Oncology waiting area and other hospital locations to provide a relaxing environment for patients and staff.

Patients, staff and the public are invited to the free Series and are welcome to bring their lunches. Programs in the Series have featured string quartets, folk music, jazz, acapella singing and public school combos and choruses.

If you are interested in performing or would like additional information on the Art for Recovery Healing Garden Music Series, please contact Jim Murdoch, Music Coordinator, 415.885.7225.
