“Art bids us touch and taste and hear and see the world.” — W.B. Yeats

An 8 week art experience for anyone dealing with cancer. Participants may have the opportunity to create their own altars, memory boxes, hand-made journal books, mandalas, and meditation beads, face masks, and quilt squares No artistic experience is necessary to participate — only a willingness to express who each person is at this moment in time and a willingness to share your story. This workshop is held for 2 hours each week at 8 week cycles — free of charge. These workshops are extremely popular — you must sign up to participate. For more information about SPIRIT workshops, and to reserve a spot for the next available workshop, please send an e-mail message ( or call 415/885-7221.
