The IACS study: Integrative Approaches to Cancer Survivorship

Do you suffer from symptoms relating to your breast cancer treatment? The UCSF IACS study is seeking breast cancer survivors to participate in a novel research project that explores the effects of certain lifestyle, nutritional and physical activity recommendations for managing cancer-related symptoms and improving overall quality of life.

As a participant, you would: Participate in a 4 month program; meet individually with a clinician or health instructor; complete 3 assessment visits over 4 months; and get support in making long-term lifestyle decisions.

You may be eligible if: You are a breast cancer survivor who is between 1-12 months beyond the completion of primary therapy (surgery, radiation and chemotherapy); you have received chemotherapy; you are in remission.
