Patient Orientation Presentation includes information for the incoming patient and their support team to help navigate around the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Includes practical tips such as directions and parking as well as more complex issues like communicating effectively with your provider.  


Receiving Cancer Care

Want to transfer care to UCSF?

  1. Get a referral from your physician using the referral form
  2. Request an appointment from the appropriate clinic
  3. Ask the clinic for a list of what materials you need to provide before you can be seen at UCSF (slides, scans, etc)

Want a second opinion? (varies by clinic):

  • Contact the site-specific clinic for details on what documents are needed in order to provide a 2nd opinion
