    V Scholar Cancer Research Grant 2024

    Purpose: to support tenure-track faculty early in their cancer research career by funding projects that are either laboratory-based fundamental research or translational research. This award is for any area of adult cancer research focused on laboratory research. Research areas not included in this scope are epidemiology, behavioral science, and health services research.

    Macy's Foundation Faculty Scholars

    Purpose: To identify and nurture promising educational innovators in medicine and nursing. Scholars will implement new educational innovations at their home institutions and participate in career development activities.

    The Cancer Center is offering pilot project awards of $25,000 to support community-engaged cancer research and translation, education, and outreach addressing needs of communities in our 25-county catchment area.

    HDFCCC Molecular Oncology Program RFA

    The Molecular Oncology Program is requesting applications for $10,000 awards to go towards the cost of using the Laboratory for Cell Analysis – Multiomics Tissue Spatial Technologies.

    HDFCCC LEAD Conference Travel Grant RFA

    The HDFCCC Office of DEIA Gender Equity Committee is offering conference travel grants for women and gender minorities within the Cancer Center to attend LEAD, a conference designed for women in oncology and hematology. The goal of this conference is to empower women leaders in the hematology and oncology space by providing essential clinical updates, career development, and professional networking. The conference will take place September 27-28th in La Jolla, California.

    Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Award (Winn CDA) for Early-Stage Investigator Physicians

    Winn CDA is a 2-year program designed to support the career development of early-stage investigator physicians who are underrepresented in medicine (URiM) or who have a demonstrated commitment to increasing diversity in clinical research.     Laboratory for Genomics Research (LGR) Innovation Award
    The Laboratory for Genomics Research (LGR) Innovation Awards program aims to support early-stage technology development projects that could mature into future UC-LGR collaborative projects. Innovation Awards are one-year research grants to support labs at the UCSF and UC Berkeley campuses with an interest in developing highly innovative ideas into early proofs of concept across the field of functional genomics and CRISPR/Cas-based tool development. The goal for these awards is to support the development of novel platform technologies, disease-related model systems, and the application of these to functional genomics screens. The award is open to Faculty or faculty-equivalent status with primary appointments at UC San Francisco and UC Berkeley.
