Prevention and Patient Care Programs

  • The Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program is a comprehensive genetic counseling service for families with a history of cancer. It is the largest, most comprehensive genetic testing center for cancer in Northern California.
  • The Center for BRCA Research, one of only two centers in the country to focus clinical and research activities directly on BRCA mutations, concentrates on clinical care, screening and prevention – as well as education and outreach.
    • The Hereditary Cancer Clinic is part of our Center for BRCA Research, and it offers patients and families with genetic mutations linked to hereditary cancers – such as mutations of the BRCA gene – personalized care and planning for their long-term health.
