UCSF Center for Cancer Data Science
A partnership with UCSF’s Bakar Computational Health Sciences Institute, the Center for Cancer Data Science (CCDS) brings together subject matter experts in oncology and data science to conduct robust research and improve cancer patient outcomes. The CCDS aims to assemble a comprehensive data asset repository that integrates multi-modal disparate data from across the research and care continuum to maximize the power of “big data.”
The Bakar Institute supports all scientific investigation involving computational methods such as simulation, modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Faculty represent a number of key areas in computational health sciences research, including cancer and precision oncology.
The Computational Cancer Community (C3) provides a forum for UCSF labs focused on cancer genomics and computational cancer biology and oncology to share their work and to get feedback and input.
