
Ingredients
- 2 cups kale leaves, stalks removed
- 1 cup unsweetened, calcium fortified, vanilla almond milk
- 1 cup frozen fruit high in vitamin C (kiwi, citrus, cherries, strawberries, etc…)
- 1 T chia seeds
- ¼ avocado
Directions
- Combine kale and almond milk in a blender and process until smooth
- Add frozen fruit, avocado and chia seeds. Continue to blend until smooth
- Add additional almond milk if a thinner consistency is desired
- Serve immediately
One serving. Provides 545 mg calcium per serving.
