Program Testimonial

“The funds from the DEIA Mini-Grant were crucial in making it possible for me to attend the conference by covering travel expenses, which would have been a barrier due to the high cost of international travel.”

Samrawit Agezew, a medical student and global cancer researcher, received a DEIA Mini-Grant to attend the 2023 African Organization for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC) conference, held on Nov 2-6 in Senegal. Read more from previous grant recipients.
