I am a clinical associate professor in Department of Hematology-Oncology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). My research focus has been on HIV oncology, and I am part of the AIDS Malignancy Consortium (AMC). As an AMC member, I am currently working on clinical trial protocols involving therapeutic HPV vaccines for treatment of anal high-grade intraepithelial lesions (HSIL) and HPV-associated cancers. I am the principal investigator (PI) of an investigator-initiated trial on intra-lesional administration of nivolumab for treatment of cutaneous Kaposi sarcoma. I am also the local PI for AMC-095, which uses nivolumab and ipilimumab for treatment of advanced/metastatic solid tumors in HIV-infected individuals. I have a panel of HIV-infected patients with cancer at ZSFG that I am actively treating and/or following. I am certified in high-resolution anoscopy (HRA) and ablative procedures for anal warts and HSIL. I practice at Mt. Zion Anal Neoplasia Clinic. I am also the director of the Anal Dysplasia Clinic at ZSFG. I have conducted clinical research in women receiving anal cancer screening, female genital tract HIV shedding, the relationship between disclosure of HIV serostatus and condom use in HIV-infected MSM in Taiwan, as well as outcomes and regional variations in practice and determinants of practice in the management of ART-naïve HIV-infected adults with KS in a national database. Through my previous research projects, I have gained experience in the ethical conduct of research, working collaboratively in teams, communication and leadership skills, and presented my research at several international meetings.
