Research Summary

Dr. Stephanie Cham’s primary research focus is to reduce disparities and improve perioperative care for gynecologic cancer patients, particularly in vulnerable populations, through innovative healthcare services outcomes research and the development of novel and scalable interventions including those leveraging new care delivery approaches and technology.

Dr. Stephanie Cham joins the faculty practice as a National Institute of Health Women’s Reproductive Health Research scholar, with a focus on how we can optimize cancer care delivery, particularly in frail and elderly patients. Her prior work has been presented at national conferences and published in journals including JAMA Oncology, American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, JAMA Network Open, and Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include providing exceptional and high-quality surgical care to patients as well as teaching trainees.
