New Patient Intake and Second Opinions

The UCSF Myeloma Clinical Program welcomes all patients with myeloma and associated diseases (Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia, amyloidosis, MGUS). The clinical team is available to provide an entire spectrum of clinical services.

Consultation and confirmation of diagnosis
Diagnosis and initial treatment planning
Co-management of care with local hematologists/oncologists
Therapy
- Standard therapies
- Novel drug therapies
- Stem cell transplantation
- New drug therapies
- Management of symptoms
- Pain management of patients

Access to these services can occur either by referral outside physicians or self-referral.
